Ganwoljae is the place. Ganwoljae gives a beautiful view for the entire year, but especially better one in fall. The flame grass field and fall foliage show a view that will make everyone happy.

Ganwoljae is about 900 meters high and is part of the Youngnam Alps. It is called Youngnam Alps because the view of nine mountains is almost as great as Europe’s Alps Mountains. The reason Ganwoljae is considered special and unique is that it has a flame grass field at the top of the mountain, which is about 900 meters high as I mentioned. This great point of Ganwoljae was recognized, and Ganwoljae is considered as one of the best places to visit in the whole country.

There are a lot of ways to go to Ganwoljae. You can start at the bottom and hike all the way up, or you can take cars up for a little bit. There are a lot of places to start at the bottom. Usually, people who are not good at exercising start at the deer park. It takes about one or two hours from the deer park, and it is about five kilometers long. However, if you want a longer or harder trails, it is up to your choice to go to other starting points.

If you are planning to visit Ganwoljae, I will recommend you going there in late October. In Ganwoljae, it is best in the middle of October to see ripe flame grass very well. It is best in early November to see fall foliage. However, if you visit Ganwoljae in late October, you will be able to catch two birds with one stone. You can see ripe flame grass field and the start of fall foliage well.

Ulsan is a metropolitan city. However, it is not very well-known for its travel spot. Nowadays, people are starting to recognize the beauty of Ganwoljae’s flame grass field. Visit Ganwoljae to see a great view and take great pictures!
