School of Performing Arts Seoul's corruption was exposed as students' parents had filed a civil complaint last year. The Seoul Education conducted an audit and reported that there were 18 irregularities including propagating specific religious dogma. During the audit, students said that they were suddenly notified with the schedule and paid their transit expenses and food expenses.

Also, graduates of the school posted a video that students expose their school's corruption by charging lyrics of the musical “Hero”, February 17th. They pointed out a crime of taking part in an external performance without any selection, a crime of requiring sexiness and physical contact in a theater, a crime that the schedule of a performance is announced the day before so that they had to practice at dawn, and a crime that students who reported the truth were threatened through the call. In addition, students went into the principal's private meeting and put on a performance at a military camp and drinking party. Their principal also encroached on students' right for learning.

According to the fact that the member of the National Assembly received from the Seoul Education Office, the principal did financial fraudulent, recruitment corruption. However, the principal is now denying for what he had been doing. In the school's meeting, the principal denied his fault by mentioning that he cannot remember, or he did not do those things. And, he said that if he did so, he is very sorry to them, but those are not his part. The students wanted to get an apology from the principal, but he abdicated. So students were really disappointed in him.

During the entrance ceremony, held on March 4th, the class was not organized and even a homeroom teacher was not designated. Moreover, parents posted on a Cheongwadae's petition message board to let him suspend injunction until the jurisdiction result is opened. Then, now, over 11,000 people have agreed for the petition on March 8th, 2019. Students want the facts are disclosed to the public earlier. Besides, many people do so.
