Kim Yu-na was born on Sept. 5, 1990, in Dodang-dong, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, as the second daughter of two daughters, Kim Hyun-seok and her mother Park Mi-hee. Kim Yu-na, who moved to Gunpo City as a child, started skating after visiting an indoor ice rink in Gwacheon City in 1996 when she was 7 years old, and started her full-fledged figure skater career at the recommendation of her coach Ryu Jong-hyun, and was selected as a figure skating national representative in 2003 at the age of 14. Kim has never been pushed out of the top three in all competitions she has competed in since her Novice days, and the record is the first in the history of the world's figure skating women's singles, based on her current record. It also broke the world record a total of 11 times, including new free program records, combined scores of shows and free programs. The last new world record set by Kim Yu-na is the combined score of 228.56 short programs, free programs and free programs she received at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Kim Yuan retired from active duty after the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in physical education at Korea University. At first, I thought Kim Yu-na started figure skating voluntarily at the age of seven, but I realized that she recognized her talent and cast her as a child. And I found out that Kim Yu-na had a wonderful ending in "The Dance of Death," which she improvised.
She was also famous for her motto 'No pain, no gain.' I also found out that it was Kim Yu-na's motto. I really respect Kim Yu-na.
