Have you ever heard about school events, such as retreat and athletic meet? In April, the students in our school went on a retreat. They stayed in Maritime Tourism Farm from April 3 to April 5. The first grade and third-grade students went on a retreat. However, second-grade students had a school trip. On the first day, the students stayed in the accommodation and played a game. On the second day, they went to a mountain, took a boat had a talent show and watched a fireworks display. On the third day, they swam and had free time.

Kim Yoon-seo, a president of the class said that after going on a retreat, they became closer to their classmates. Also, she expressed that there were some problems. The students moved freely and did not follow the rules. What she regretted was she did not bring thick clothes. It was cold at night, so she just trembled because of the cold wind. At the end of the interview, she felt their homeroom teacher's feelings. She said that controlling the class was hard. She promised that she will find a way on how to control their class easily.

One of the advantages of going on a retreat is the students can become close to each other. They can experience sleeping with classmates, so it can be helpful for them to make friend. Also, at night, they will know each other by doing games or other things. Moreover, they can show their talent. By showing their talent, others will know that they are good at dancing or singing. On the opposite side, one of the disadvantages of going on a retreat is the students can have a fight with their friends. It is because there will be differences of opinion. So, they may break their friendship. Also, in many articles, there were some violence reports when students went on a retreat. For example, they attacked friends and did sexual harassment.

The retreat was so exciting because of the activities. Also, it can be a chance for the students to become closer to their friends. If there are dangerous situations, the students should stay calm and call their teacher or solve these with their classmates. After the retreat, the students came back to their house in good health and without being hurt.
