Have you ever done exploration activities in school? Exploration is a project in which students visit some places and have an interview. Though we are living in our area. , we do not know much information about the center of our area. Thus, lots of schools give an exploration assignment. In fact, one school in the state of Ulsan, Samshin School, made students investigate the center of Ulsan.

The purpose of the exploration is to know and understand the center place of our area. Students even live in the area, but they do not know its precise characteristics. The process is first, plan when, where, why, and what to explore. The place could be the center of commerce and tourism. Second, explore the place you chose, and third, take some pictures and organize the exploration result. Lastly, have a speech at school.

Friends said that it was awkward and scary to have an interview with the employees, but they said that listening to many people's opinions was a good experience. One of our team members said that he was so nervous and anxious while he was asking some questions to other people. However, he thought it was a great chance to have an interview with people working in professional fields.

Samshin Elementary School's purpose was to make students understand the main center place of the area. It changed the perception of students in the center of Ulsan. They precisely interviewed and investigated where the center is, how many people visited there and the way people earn every day. Surprisingly, all students organized the characteristics very well.

By investigating the center of Ulsan, students had had a great experience exploring and were able to make an exploration example video. At the end of every exploration activity, students could learn more about Ulsan.
