Although a diplomat has a very important role in our country, most people do not know about its importance. Diplomats, work in a foreign office in the government, and sometimes they talk about the diplomatic problems in news.

Diplomats represent our country, South Korea, and they work in the government, having a good reputation to all the people. They protect the country, and some of them work in other countries such as America and the United Kingdom.

They protect overseas residents and increase the economy and international trade field's profit. Also, some diplomats work in the embassy. When we lost our passport in other countries, they can find it.

However, most diplomats are male. It is hard for females to have this job, and it is hard to live although they become a diplomat.

As this job has a good reputation, to become a diplomat is so complex and hard. Even most parents who have a daughter or son who wants to become a diplomat are surprised about his or her decision.

The first step is gaining a good education. Most students who are dreaming of becoming a diplomat must graduate from prestigious schools in South Korea. Also, they have to major the department of political science and diplomacy or department of foreign affairs. When the students achieve this process, they have to study English and other languages such as Spanish and Chinese. When they are finished, finally, they can take a test. The test is divided into two written tests and a job interview. When they pass the two tests, they will be educated by a canvasser. When the job interviewer will choose deserving person who can be a diplomat. The virtue between diplomats is credited, and their role in formulating a foreign policy.

Also, they are the ones to protect a country. I wish more student work for our country and get over the hump.
