Rise in Crime Involving racism

There has been a rise in crime with racism reported to police.

With incidents increasing almost a third every year- most of them racially motivated.

Because of the acts of terrorism of the I.S., there has been moves of counter-terrorism that lead to Antisemitism and Islamophobia.

After the acts of terrorism, Antisemitism and Islamophobia have increased greatly.

Thus, they lead to various crimes motivated by racism and deeply rooted hate towards the Muslims.

There has been various cases that has been motivated by racism nowadays in Britain. Recently, a Muslim mother was knocked out in front of her children while ordering McDonalds'.

Kelli Cooke, the assailant, mocked Hennan Hamood's, English accent then tried to pull of her head scarf.

Cooke had mocked the victim by telling her to go back to her country, and that she shouldn't wear that head scarf in the assailant's country.

The two kids of Hamood were watching the whole scene, and Cooke had even mocked the children because of their heritage.

These racism was rooted deeply even in the minds of police officers.

In a case of murder of a Muslim in 2013, they misjudged and falsely accused an assailant to be one of the Muslim while the evidence clearly said the case was motivated by racism.

The assailant, a neo-Nazi Pavlo Lapshyn, had confessed that he had murdered the Muslim because he hated Muslims.

A Muslim elder had tried to protect people by removing the bomb from a terrorist but had been wrongly accused as the terrorist while witnesses said otherwise.

There are other cases that a Muslim had been wrongly accused. Maz Saleem an anti racist activist, and the daughter of the murdered Muslim said that the Muslim society is treated as a suspect community.
