Samsung’s new smartphone Galaxy X has had many rumors since 2014 when they exposed the concept for the first time. After four years, the sale for customers like us is coming for real now.
People say that Samsung Galaxy X is the innovation for the smartphone industry because it is the first phone that has a foldable function. The foldable smartphone has two screens, if you unfold it, the screen will be bigger and will be double in size.

According to Samsung’s high-ranking officials, the company’s battery division has developed a curved battery with a capacity between 3,000 mAh and 6,000 mAh. This means that they are able to provide a 7.3-inch OLED display. According to an insider, the panel can be folded down to 4.5-inches. Samsung Galaxy X has a higher battery capacity compared to S9+ that boasts only a 3,500 mAh battery. Some people are worried that the Galaxy Note7, which includes a 3,500 mAh battery will get affected.
Not only Samsung, but many other smartphone companies are trying to develop foldable smartphones. The leading group after Samsung is Huawei. In late 2017, ZTE released the Axon M, which has two screens and opens like a book to create the illusion of one extra-large screen. But, the key distinction between Axon M, Huawei and Samsung's concepts lies in the phone's folding screen.

Samsung's folding phone is expected to use its flexible OLED display tech. Whereas, Huawei is reported to use flexible screens from LG Display, according to ETNews.
