Every year, there are many people who die because of diverse reasons such as cardiac disorder, suicide, pneumonia, cancer, liver disease, cerebrovascular disease, accidents, and others. However, in South Korea, especially in the 40s to 70s, cancer is No. 1 cause of death every year.

First of all, the definition of cancer is an abnormal growth of cells which tends to proliferate in an uncontrolled way, and cancer is a group of more than 100 different distinctive diseases. Cancer consists of lung cancer, renal cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, skin cancer, and many others. Lung cancer is the leading cause of death from cancer for both men and women. According to statistical research of national statistical office, in South Korea, cancer remained the highest cause of death rate in women and men. In particular, men's cancer rate is 1.6 times higher than women's. Furthermore, many old entertainers in South Korea died because of cancer.

On the other hand, our body sometimes cannot notice anything when we have diseases. If a person gets cancer, he or she cannot notice that, and when cancer invades another organ or it becomes severe, he or she realizes for the first time that he or she is suffering from cancer. To prevent this unfortunate case, we should make out regular and appropriate menus and eat foods which are good for cancer. Also, we have to get a physical examination regularly to prevent cancer.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in South Korea. However, our body usually cannot notice cancer, so it could get worse, and it can beyond medical treatment. So, people should live a well-regulated life to prevent cancer and many other diseases.
