With 21 car manufacturers, 206 electric vehicle-only makers, parts makers and information technology companies joining the biannual show, this year's motor show will run through April seven and will take place at Kintex, Ilsan.

Unveiling the company's steady seller Sonata's eighth generation hybrid and fuel-cell electric vehicle, Nexo, Hyundai Motors will appeal its green vision. Sonata with solar panels deployed on the roof maximizes fuel-efficiency up to 20 kilomiters per liter. The electric vehicle, Nexo, with an air-purifying capability is the one that djsplayed at the show. By the way, Hyundai Motors' sister company, Kia Motors, will show three concept cars - Mohave Masterpiece, SP Signature and Imagine - to showoff the carmaker’s ambition to dominate the SUV segment.
Foreign carmakers, similarly, will show their ambition over green and futuristic concepts. Mercedes-Benz, one of the most famous face in the motor scene, but old at the same time, will have to bring some changes to make people's expectations meet. Thus, they will release an electric racing car, Vision EQ Silver Arrow, which is a homage to the 1938's worldwide speed record mobility, W 125 Silver Arrow. Also, other importers targeting the Korean market such as Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover will unveil key products at the motor show.
Keywords of near future's road trend will be at the Seoul Motor Show. Crossover SUVs, expanded green lineups and widened color palette will offer glimpse into auto market of tomorrow.
