▲ Pros and cons about whether it is right for game disorder to be designated to a disease

Perhaps everyone may be embarrassed with a certain news. Especially, game lovers might be annoyed. The content of the news is about WHO that started to regard a game disorder as a disease, designating game disorder with a code number '6C51'. After announcing, respective countries have written a report about this game disorder and will announce how to control it. At present, worldwide conversation arises from the move of WHO to countries, so does South Korea. According to Realmeter, 45 percent of Korean people consented with the decision of WHO, and 36 percent of Korean people resisted with it. There are 19 percent of people refused to respond. As you see, the proportions of each side are similar, so a hot controversy of a game disorder is triggered in South Korea.

Affirmative side of the controversy insisted that there is a game disorder caused by many serious problems. For instance, in United Kingdom in 2009, a large number of people suffered from malnutrition, body imbalance, and antisocial disease for the sake of the game disorder. Also, they believe that the violence is able to stem from it. Their belief is sort of true; previously, a man killed a person by illusion made by the game disorder in South Korea.

However, the negative side of the controversy refutes the explanation about violence of positive side. According to a research-done from 2004 to 2005 in Harvard University-violent, the game did not influence on the actions of adolescence. Researchers observed that there 1,200 children and 500 parents, but violence are not promoted. Also, they are doubtful of the justification of the choice of WHO. They thought that WHO invaded the right of individuals to play the games freely. Also, they argued that there are so many ambiguous points in the report of WHO.

At the moment, I believe that the pros and cons of this controversy may fight each other. Everyone hopes that the conflict between them will be addressed, and WHO will explain about the measure of the game disorder more.
