Have you ever heard about the issue of plastic? It is because human thinks naturally to use something made of plastic in daily life around the world. Thus, lots of schools around the world started to reduce a plastic project.

This environmental issue is very close-related with a human because it is a come back to human. For example, granule in toothpaste is microplastic which is too small and unseen. So, it is not filtered in the water treatment plant. Also, it percolates in the river and sea. The microplastic is eaten by predictor through the food chain. Thus, it is a come back to human.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO), more than 80 percent of plastics made by people are left out every year. So, the participating students get to figure out various ways to solve the problem of wasting plastic.

An interview with a junior student from the school, Seo-ha Lee, was done to figure out how students feel about this project. She said that, through this project, she knows about the seriousness of plastic pollution. She found that she is interested in the environment. So, she decided to study environmental preserving in college to find out in detail about the problem.

By reducing plastics, people can bequeath to descendant. The school officials are discussing the wasting plastic related to professionals by the end of Reducing Plastic Project so that they can gain insights from the ideas of students to reduce the issue.
