Since the Fourth Industry Revolution is going along today, many things are changed like what we imagine in the future. Therefore, AI and robots are commercialized. Nowadays, robotized restaurants are also increasing more and more. Even in South Korea, the nations' first robotized restaurant opened in July.

In the robotized restaurants, robots cook the food for the customers. Its principle is simple. The principle of a chef robot is similar to the manufacturing process of the factory. As we enter the way of producing the products to the machine, we input the recipes to the chef robot.

One of the famous robotized restaurants is Spyce in Boston, the U.S. In this restaurant, the chef robots cook Asian, Latin and Mediterranean fried rice when the customers order the meals. Then a staff serves the customers. The nation's first robotized restaurant in South Korea is Merry-Go-Kitchen in Seoul. The robots do everything such as cooking, serving and receiving payment. The customers can order meals through mobile applications, Baedal Minjok, and QR Codes. When the robots get orders, they cook meals. After the chef robots cook, the meals are delivered by the conveyor belt or the autonomous mobile robots.

According to the interview of Hyang Jin Kwon, the representative of a robotized restaurant, the chef robots and serving robots will be commercialized soon. He said that robots in the restaurant will increase, and they will affect many restaurants and restaurant business.

As the technology is developing and the Fourth Industrial Revolution is ongoing, robots are used for many ways like in the robotized restaurants. The more the technology of robots evolves, the more the robotized restaurants influence a lot at the foodservice industry.
