Do you know about 3D printing? 3D printing which is the abbreviation of Three Dimensional Printing is developing our life.

To begin with, 3D printing is the technology that can make the object which has a spatial volume of three dimensions. How to print the object? First, you should model the object you want. Second, print the object. Lastly, sand the surface smoothly.

The 3D printer has two types. There are stacking type and cutting type. Stacking type means stacking the melted filament and powder. Cutting type means cutting the large lump. In life, there are food printers, bioprinters, and fashion printers. First, in Chocosketch, Chocosketch made a chocolate printer that prints chocolates. In TNO, their printer makes pasta. In ChefJet and CocoJet, their printer makes candies and chocolates.

Next is about bioprinters. They were made in 2008. In POSTECH, where is the abbreviation of the Pohang University of Science &Technology, they made the world's first bio-ink. Bio ink can make humans' heart and bones. Also, they made artificial cornea and embryo models. Next is about fashion. In Rothy's, their printers make shoes through plastic bottles. In Danit Peleg, their printers create clothes. In EADS, which is the abbreviation of European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, they print the parts of Airbus.

In the University of Southampton, they make a pilotless plane. In ZDNet Korea's Seung Min Kim's report, Deloitte said that lots of industrial companies use 3D printing technology. Also, 3D printing can use various types of materials.

To sum up, 3D printing technology is used in making foods, hearts, bones, planes, parts of plane, fashion, and many others. Therefore, to be concerned about 3D printing is important in our life.
