After the 2018 Winter Olympics, there is a growing interest in Pyeongchang. In Pyeongchang, there will be the 13th Pyeongchang Trout Festival and the 28th Daegwallyeong Snow Festival. The trout festival will take place from the end of December to the second day of February. The snow festival will take place in January. So, people can enjoy many programs and will have a great time during these festivals.

In order to have a great time in the cold winter, first, you can participate in the 13th Pyeongchang Trout Festival. Our ancestors ate trout fish which they caught in the river every winter, and the Pyeongchang for consistency. Trout Festival is a festival celebrating the life of our ancestors with the theme "Winter with Snow, Ice, and Trout." There are so many programs, such as ice fishing, catching a fish with one's bare hands, fishing area for children and fishing in a tent. Also, you can buy a fishing tackle there, and if you borrow a tent, you can cook the trout that you have caught and eat it.

Next, you can spend the cold wintertime in the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival. This year's festival is organized to help everyone enjoy the snow sculpture park by utilizing beautiful snowman, colorful snow area, and winter park. This snow festival also has many programs to enjoy. There are many snow sculptures, and a snowman made by the people in Daegwallyeong. There are also beautiful photo zones. Besides that, you can enjoy a marathon race with your naked body, sledding, horseback riding, and other performances. In other words, the festival is organized to enjoy the cold winter.
