KT said on April 5 that it hosted a YouTube live wedding with the hearts of a prospective couple and relatives in Daegu area.

The star of the YouTube live wedding is a prospective couple living in Seoul. The wedding ceremony was originally scheduled to be held at the wedding hall, which had completed the reservation, but the event was canceled as most of the relatives of the family lived in Daegu. For the prospective couple, KT had a live YouTube wedding at 5 p.m. on April 4 at the wedding hall. On the same day, KT supported a live broadcasting system for two-way plurality so that the bride and groom could exchange congratulatory messages with their relatives and acquaintances from both families in real-time. The bride-to-be said that the situation was so bad that grandmothers and relatives in Daegu could not enter the country, but they had to proceed with the ceremony if they think about the wedding fee. Then, they were worried that it would be a nuisance to think of the guests. In addition, they could have an online live wedding through KT, so they had a happy wedding event for everyone.

KT plans to continue its case of non-commercial communication by visiting sites that require warm communication, such as orientation for freshmen at universities using online live broadcasting, shopping at traditional markets, and Im Kwan-sik, a noncommissioned officer of the army. KT will continue with non-face communication cases like online weddings to connect social disconnections and to boost communication, according to Park Hyun-jin, executive director of KT's Customer Strategy Division.
