On April 9th, 2020, third year middle and high school students started school online.
These online classes operate on smart devices. Students can attend on their phones. At the time class starts, teachers and students meet via various applications. For example, they use Zoom. This is an app which displays all students on the screen. Also, they can check attendance in the comments that students post on the teacher's lecture.
There are a lot of sites that support online classes. These include EBS online class, E-Learning, Band, Microsoft Teams, and Google Classroom.
The Band specializes in live broadcasting. On Band, teachers and students can communicate and students can view live broadcasts. There are many positive things about Band. Students and teachers can help each other communicate. Through it, students can listen to the lecture with greater concentration. If the teacher gives assignments, students have access to them and can submit them in the comments.
Microsoft Teams specializes in communication between teachers and students. With Microsoft Teams, teachers can easily check the attendance of students through the comments. If the teacher uploads a video of the class, students can watch the video and do related assignments. These are Microsoft Teams' best attributes.
Nevertheless, many students are complaining about EBS online class. Students are suffering from inconveniences of server errors. Also, teachers can see the students, so students can't do other things while listening to the lectures.
The online class program has many advantages and disadvantages. Operating online classes can prevent COVID-19, but students many not take properly to the format. Also, listening to lectures on electronic devices can reduce students' concentration.
