CNCO, a well known Latin pop group only in South America, mocked BTS on January 1st. They were talking about iHeart Music Awards which will be held on March 11th. BTS's international fans shared this radio all over the world via YouTube and Twitter. People are looking at this conversation in a racist way.

While they are talking about the music awards, one of the radio hosts asked CNCO, if they have seen Koreans and even added that they are like the Korean version of CNCO. Everyone in that place including every host and CNCO member laughed. When the host asked them, if they do not want to be compared with them, they said "Yes..." in a small voice. Suddenly, the theme of the conversation went to BTS. The host said that their lyrics are beautiful with a sarcastic tone. As expected, everyone laughed and tried to imitate the Korean language with sarcasm. Also, they used Chinese words like "Ni hao" and Japanese song called PPAP to pull Asians down.

BTS and CNCO were nominated in iHeart Music Awards for "The Best Boyband" category. using hashtags like #iheartawards #bestboyband @BTS.twt in Twitter and Instagram is the way to vote. Since BTS has huge fandom all over the world, BTS is #1 and CNCO is #2. However, CNCO compelled their fans to vote for them. They blocked a fan on Twitter who is a fan of both BTS and CNCO because of the reason that she voted for BTS.

Then, there is one more problem. CNCO's company is Sony, which is one of the biggest music companies. People are concerned that BTS might have a collaboration with CNCO because of Sony Entertainment's power. So, BTS's fans connected with BTS's company and told them about CNCO's brutality and the reason why BTS should not work with them.
We live in the 21st century and in a global community. This racism must be eradicated. Unfortunately, the racism is pretty pervasive in many countries, especially in South America. Watch your language. That is a racial slur.
